• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of Budgit
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation
• Share your account credentials with others

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of data you upload to Budgit. By uploading content, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and process your data to provide the Service
• Use AI to extract and categorize information from receipts
• Generate insights and analytics from your data
• Improve our AI models using anonymized, aggregated data

5.2 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter. Our AI assists with extraction, but you should verify categorized transactions and budgets.

6.1 Subscription Plans

Budgit offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, depending on what you select.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payment is due in advance for each billing period
• Fees are non-refundable except where required by law
• We may change pricing with 30 days' notice
• Failed payments may result in suspension

6.3 Cancellation

Cancel anytime from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial periods.

The Service—including its design, features, functionality, and content—is owned by Budgit and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service
• Use our trademarks or logos without permission
• Remove or alter copyright or proprietary notices

8.1 Service Availability

We strive to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.

8.2 Financial Advice Disclaimer

Budgit is a budgeting tool and does not provide financial, investment, or tax advice. Information provided is for informational purposes only.

8.3 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Budgit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

We may suspend or terminate your account for:

• Violations of these Terms
• Fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity
• Non-payment of fees
• Extended account inactivity

You may terminate your account anytime in settings. Upon termination, access ceases and we may delete your data per our Privacy Policy.

We may modify these Terms. When we do, we will:

• Post the updated Terms on this page
• Update the "Last updated" date
• Send an email notification for significant changes

Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance.
